We’ve lived and raised our family here in Woodstock, CT for the past 25 years. Jenn grew up in town, helping her mom on their small farm. They bred/raised sheep and Golden Retrievers.
When we started our own family, we carried on the love of animals by breeding Yellow Labrador Retrievers. After a few years, raising a family took precedence so we just kept a few animals as pets.
Now that the boys are grown, we decided to rekindle that passion for raising quality animals and picked the Bengal as we’d fallen in love with the quirky attitude and bold, eye-catching patterned coat they wear.
This is a beginning venture for us, and it took over a year to find the right types of cats to use as our foundation breeding animals. (Because these guys are a part of our family, personalities matter!)
We’ve made some incredible friends and connections over the past year, going to Cat Shows, competing in them as well, to learn what the judges are looking for in terms of style, structure, pattern, and personality. We’ve talked with the spectators to hear their thoughts on what they look for in a new Bengal pet. From that insight, I feel that we have some great family members that will go on to produce wonderful pets to share that same love that we do.
